Contraindications

You Are Not A Candidate For Treatment If:

Pregnancy or Breastfeeding

You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding. This applies to all procedures.

Active Acne or Infection

You have active, open acne or an infection of any kind in the treatment area. This applies to all procedures.

Recent Cancer

You have active or recent cancer within the last 6 months. This applies to all procedures.

neurotoxin contraindications

You have autoimmune diseases, Myasthenia Gravis, neuromuscular disorders, allergy to human albumin, or allergy to Botulinum Toxin.

Dermal Filler Contraindications

You have silicone or other permanent, non-dissolvable products in or around the intended treatment areas that could increase the risk of complications. You have a history of anaphylaxis, allergy or hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or any formulation components, allergy to lidocaine, autoimmune diseases, or vaccinations/dental work within 2 weeks of your appointment.

skin treatment contraindications

You have used Isotretinoin within 6 months, have active skin cancer in the treatment area, or have an allergy to stainless steel.

Laser Contraindications (face)

You have used Isotretinoin within 6 months, have active skin cancer in the treatment area, have seizure disorders, hypersensitivity to light, recent sun exposure / tanning bed use / self-tanning product use within 4 weeks of treatment, or are currently using photosensitizing medication.

Laser Contraindications (body)

You have active skin cancer in the treatment area, metal implants in the treatment area, seizure disorders, hypersensitivity to light, recent sun exposure / tanning bed use / self-tanning product use within 4 weeks of treatment, or are currently using photosensitizing medication.

tattoo removal contraindications

You have ink used in treatment area that contains metals. You have active skin cancer in the treatment area, metal implants in the treatment area, seizure disorders, hypersensitivity to light, recent sun exposure / tanning bed use / self-tanning product use within 4 weeks of treatment, or are currently using photosensitizing medication.

This list is not all-encompassing. Candidacy for treatments is determined on a case-by-case basis by your provider based on your health history and other factors. DOSED RX reserves the right to refuse treatment for patient safety, including but not limited to medical contraindications and/or being actively under the influence of illicit drugs or alcohol at the time of treatment.
